The aim of this course is to expose students to current research in horticulture and in plant sciences in general. This we do through attending seminars of invited speakers as well as progress reports of Phd students in our institute. The students will learn how to summarize the main points from a lecture, and develop an ability to critically analyze the research presented and think how it can be improved and continued. The students will learn how to present their conclusions in a concise and clear way, both in writing and in oral presentation.
